I'm a 40-something lifelong Catholic who has accepted my lot as a Cafeteria Catholic. There is so much about the Catholic Church that truly speaks to me. And, yes, I have my points of disagreement. I find comfort in knowing most American Catholics feel the same way. This is one really BIG cafeteria!

Prayer... Great idea!
What you've got to see is that the press is being a big manipulator of people--this is sensational stuff! It'll sell papers. It's greed driven at the heart.
Don't fall prey to being manipulated. There's enough people already who are letting themselves be angered to the point of saying all kinds of ignorant and racist things. Just look at the photos and things that your alter ego Gerald at the "Closed Cafeteria" is running. Look at what his commenters are saying. They're being led by hate and driven by hate. Please, let's let the Holy Spirit be our guide. May God end all violence done in his holy name!
More importantly, we need to pray for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary on behalf of all muslims that they convert to Christianity.
